When we first laid eyes on Carmella DeCesare, we knew she was something special. Cyber Club members thought so too, casting their votes in record numbers for the October 21, 2002 Cyber Girl of the Week and making her the February 2003 Cyber Girl of the Month. She was in awe when we told her how many members votes for her, and told us her experience with Playboy was as unpredictable as it was exciting. "All I know is that things just keep looking up in my life," Carmella said then. As it turned out, being a Cybergirl was only the beginning. Hef chose her to be Miss April 2003, and from there she was the readers' overwhelming favorite for PMOY. And we weren't surprised one bit.
